萩庭桂太が考えたのは絶対的安心感。

「既存のハンドストラップは、カメラに装着しないのでただ単一では見た時にはデザインや素材はカッコ良いのですが、いざカメラボデイに装着すると、大抵のものは長さが長すぎてボディと手のひらの距離が離れて、結局手首で ユルユルになり、フィット感が全く無いし油断していると手首から抜けてしまうものばかりでした。」

「カメラボディに装着してはじめてストラップの機能とデザインが完成するものはないか？と試行錯誤した時に、単純に輪っかを作れて、アイレットでボディに固定する事でその機能が完成できるデザインとして、とてもシンプルですがこのようなデザインになったのだと思います。」

「ストラップに開けた2つの穴への通し方でスムーズに動いたり、ある程度の摩擦抵抗で動きが難しかったり、しっかり動かずに定位置をキープしたり、またアイレットへの留め方の上下裏表で手首から手の甲へのストラップの回す位置も変えられます。」

お使いになる方の使いやすいようにアレンジできるのもシンプルなストラップならではです。このコンセプトに基づきイタリア製レザーで最高の感触と使い勝手を実現させています。

Concept: Absolute Security and Seamless Integration

"What I sought to create was a sense of absolute security.

Existing hand straps often look stylish as standalone items, featuring great designs and materials. However, once attached to a camera, most prove to be too long. This creates a gap between the camera body and the palm, leaving the strap loose around the wrist. Without a snug fit, there is always the lingering worry that the camera might slip off.

I asked myself: Can we create a strap whose function and design are only truly 'complete' once it is joined with the camera? Through extensive trial and error, I arrived at this remarkably simple form. It functions by creating a clean loop that is secured to the body via the eyelet, fulfilling its purpose only when in use.

The dual-hole design offers versatility: depending on how you thread it, you can achieve smooth movement, create frictional resistance, or lock it firmly in a fixed position. Furthermore, by flipping or reversing how it attaches to the eyelet, you can adjust the strap's path from the wrist to the back of the hand.

The beauty of such a minimalist design is that it allows every photographer to customize the fit to their own preference. Based on this concept, we have utilized premium Italian leather to achieve the ultimate tactile feel and effortless usability."
